- marker vs. pencil or selected tool
What do I need?
- Pencil, white paper

- Colored pencil (one color), white paper

- clear area of dirt, something to make a pattern in the earth
Start with a circle anywhere on your paper or drawing surface. You can trace or draw because it does not need to be perfect! |
Add radial lines from your circle. They can be any type of line. Go back and thicken all lines to make them look like they come from the circle. |
Start choosing patterns to add to each radial area extending from your circle. You can fill in all areas or create a negative/positive pattern. |
Use all of your different ideas. |
If you only have a pencil, the project still works. |
Add a larger circle and use just straight lines. |
Think about adding color! Here is a warm pattern using colored pencil. You can use crayon or any medium you have handy. |
Fill in areas as you are inspired. I will post a completed project when it is done. Have Fun! |
