Friday Challenge

Add to your picture with layering! When you draw a picture and want to add or change something you don't need an eraser. You can tear another piece of paper and place it over the first picture, make your changes and fit it into the background. Draw on a torn piece of paper. Add that piece of paper to your original drawing to create a layer. Use another piece of paper. Draw something new for your picture. You have multiple layers for the picture. If you want to draw a box, look back at the box challenge!

Flowers all together!

We drew tulips and daffodils so we can put them together in a vase. I decided to use a watering can but there are many different choices and I showed three possible ideas before the watering can video. ENJOY! Check back for the colored versions! I still have work to do today.

Koi Fish

Here is an idea! Combine colored pencil and watercolor. I am working on a koi fish in a pond. I am painting over my fish and rocks to create the illusion of being below the surface of the water. This is the first trial. Check back for additional attempts Try one of your own....what will you put underwater?
