Bug Jar!

We are going to end bug week with a place to put all of your bugs. It is a bug jar to contain all of your little multi-legged friends. Start with a jar. The short video will help you draw a jar. You can also make them different shapes. You can add details to the bottom of the jar, light shinning off of the glass and BUGS! HAVE Fun and collect all of the bugs you have made this week.

Bird Day during Pet Week

Most people have parakeets or cockatiels as pets but you can also have parrots and other larger species of bird. This is a bird that you can add different details to as you draw and it is flying! Have fun drawing. This one takes some time but don't be afraid to pause the video or fast forward!

More Optical Art to keep you moving!

The rain this week will keep you inside so let your brain keep moving with different art ideas. Optical art does not require fancy tools and you can create your own designs. A ruler is nice but you can use the side of a piece of paper to give you straight lines. You only need one color and it can be pencil or marker (or anything!) Here are two different patterns you may want to try. You can also mix these up or create your own. When you create your own, think about patterns!
